I have only been here a few times, but it has quickly become a go to spot for myself and my friends. The service is very quick and friendly, and the food quality and pricing is amazing. The combo is an awesome deal, and I really like the cheese kimbap ... and tuna kimbap. The little desserts are also awesome and the soup is a perfect blend of light but well seasoned. The space is a bit limited, but it feels very cozy and they play Kpop music videos on low volume which was quite nice. I love going for a quick snack or for a full meal. Read more
I always oder delivery for lunch. The portion sizes for takeout and dining in are the same. There has a TV and the playlist is very cheerful 🎵(IVE,G-IDLE..) ✔️Combo It includes a portion of seaweed-wrapped rice (very delicious, very filling), takoyaki, 🌶️spicy Stir-fried rice cakes, and soup! Suitable for one person, it's a top-selling item! ... ❗️ ✔️Dry Cold Noodles First time trying cold noodles! It's loaded with veggies, and add chili sauce according to my taste, refreshing with a spicy kick, very tasty ~ Read more
If you're a fan of Korean food and looking for a hidden gem in Calgary, you have to check out SSO Yummy in Chinatown! I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by their delicious Jjolmyeon. The dish was a perfect combination of chewy, spicy and tangy flavors, and ... the noodles were cooked to perfection. SSO Yummy is definitely a must-visit for all Korean food enthusiasts. The restaurant is located in the heart of Chinatown and has a cozy ambiance that makes for a great dining experience. The service is also fantastic, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend SSO Yummy to anyone who loves Korean food. Read more
SSO YUMMY Korean Cuisine (Chinatown, 2 Ave by Riverfront Dr). Small place serving simple Korean food. Love their kimbap here, this was the 'original'. Also got the spicy pork (good texture, but flavour not quite kimchi house level) and cold spicy chewy noodles (Jjolmyun) which was quite good and I'm ... not typically a cold noodle person. It also came with a fish cake soup (yum!) and little pastry snack with custard inside. Read more

The foods taste amazing for their price. The servers are also friendly as well. One of my favorite dishes is spicy pork with rice, which has a balance flavor between spicy and sweet. Definitely recommend to try.
