Globefish Sushi and Izakaya - Calgary, Alberta

I went here for the first time a month ago. I was happy to find a sushi restaurant with many gluten friendly options, and I was most excited to try out the GF tempura. Unfortunately it tasted quite bland. The rest of the meal was good quality, we just didn’t like ... our sushi roll choices (we tried some new items), so not on them! A visitor to Calgary to celibate a birthday with a party of 7. In 2024 with the cost of restaurant meals going up our final bill was $176 with tip. A bargain and the food was so good. One of the best sushi places in Calgary. I was extremely satisfied with everything, although prices are a bit high.

Delicious food, very fresh. The staff were very nice and the food was reasonably priced. The service was also quick. Highly recommend!

Ordered takeout on doordash, completely disappointed. Sushi rolls were a mess, soy sauce was just dumped in the roll boxes, covered in sauce. Rolls falling apart. Won't be ordering again for this type of quality for the price.
