This is the closest bakery to me in our community and I love it! Their bread is always tasty but some of their baking is previously frozen or has been left standing for too long. I usually have a good experience but have definitely had a few misses in terms ... of taste and age/quality of a dessert. Still a good bakery and good prices. It was my first time in Calgary in my life. I stopped at Rustic Sourdough Bakery and tried their Mocha Buttercream. I can't remember the exact price, but it was around $4 so it's on par with most Canadian bakery prices. I can handle really rich sweets, and this was right up ... my alley. One of our favourite bakeries in Calgary! Wow for fresh bread and pastries. This place is a hidden gem.

Super cute inside and smells so good! The treats look amazing but their looks are superior to their taste, a bit disappointed with the bread and treats we bought. Service was nice and fast. They still German goods there which was really cool! One half of the store is a ... bakery and the other half a sandwich shop where you can get a sandwich or buy meats and cheeses.
