We just moved into our place and there was nothing in the fridge for us to make for dinner, so we ordered from Oriental House on Doordash. Dinner for 2 and Singapore Noodles. It was DELICIOUS! This is a carry-out restaurant, so the dine-in atmosphere isn't the best. They do have a few chairs and one dining table, it's usable for a quick meal but not recommended eating in. The gentlemen that works in the restaurant is very friendly, their service was super fast. He told us ... he's been running this restaurant since 1997. They lost two stars due to their food quality. There was a strong rancid stench and taste to the shrimps in the fried rice (on June 13th). I made a complaint to him, he was genuinely apologetic about it. Hopefully something was done to prevent this lack of quality from happening again, but I won't be returning to test it out. Read more

Our first try here. We ordered “Dinner for 3”. The Wonton Soup is a dark broth and lacks flavour. The Fried Rice is average. We ordered Ginger Beef but we got Ginger Chicken. The Deep Fried Spring Rolls had an overpowering flavour of cabbage. The fried breading on the ... “Ginger Beef” had a taste and texture different than we are used to (Kind of like baking flour). I noticed they have multiple types of Asian foods to offer. Maybe the Chinese food was not their best tonight or they are just better at the other types. I won’t try again though. Read more

I caught them at a good time when they were not busy so when picking up my order it was done exactly as I got there. The chef was really nice and welcoming. It Is not a dine-in but the service was really good when I ordered and also ... picked up my stuff. I ordered a last minute meal that I wanted in a hurry and they made it without a fuss which was a bonus since it was a rough day. The foods I've tried have really been well made, especially the candied bananas (totally a favourite), the shrimp friend rice tasted really good. I alsp ordered hot and sour soup, however, it was not as sour as I prefer so it's up to preference for this one, also the taste of mushrooms comes through a bit more because there are chunks of brown mushroom (ok if youre a mushroom fan). It's a bit hidden away since the lighting around the area of the street isn't well but it's worth the drive. As far as for previous bad comments, this is more a preference kind of place, and if there was a lot of hassle then it can't be helped from any restaurants as mistakes and things can happen, but for myself I had really good portions for the price I paid and good customer service from the time I called for my order until the moment I picked up and left the take out restaurant.
