Madison’s Restaurant & Bar - Calgary, Alberta

We have been here a few times and had a good experience. The food super delicious, not usually something you get from a neighborhood pub. The location is kinda funny just because you are surrounded by a local strip mall featuring a walk in clinic and lab.. lol. Don't let ... this persuade you to go elsewhere. The patio is tiny but still cute. The prices are fair and the food one of a kind. Worth every penny. Today's visit was especially awesome because we had the best server we have had in a hot minute. Ronnie was super friendly, super funny and very attentive. Also was sporting an air cast and still came into work to help out her team. We ended up there by accident. We had just arrived in Calgary and were looking for a grocery store. Once we finally found one, we found Madison next door. The food was excellent and so was the service. Not sure if this is an Alberta thing, but the staff was ... so friendly and helpful. I got a chuckle when I saw the row of slot machines in the back of the restaurant. I would go back there again. Loved it! Read more

I've been here a few times this year, including the patio in summer, and inside during the winter. The service is always great; the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is good and the menu has good variety without being too big / overwhelming and still includes traditional pub ... fare. The food and alcohol prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is good too, not too loud but still "pubby", and I never feel self conscious about what I'm wearing. Read more

Man! What can I say except that I recommend! Had not had a steak sandwich in forever and they did me so good! Grace was a great server/bartender...
