House of Eat & Drink Restaurant - Calgary, Alberta

Just discovered House of Eat and Drink last week, which is located near my office. My food was tasty, staff were very friendly, service was fast, and a great variety of food. I can't wait to visit for lunch again.

I had the ginger beef and sweet and sour pork combo. I ended up with a mix of fried breaded meat. The sauce was in separate containers, the sweet and sour sauce was ok. Mama and Papa Lee do an amazing job on their Wor Wonton soup kit! We just whipped it up for dinner and we're very impressed. Very reasonable price, easy to follow directions and I can't wait to order it again! Great meal on a cool rainy evening.

Just found this out of the way place and I love it. Prices are good and the food is simple homemade food. Really nice friendly mom and pop owners. I will go out of my way to go there. Not the best but not the worst. This is the most satisfied I’ve been with a Chinese restaurant in a long time. It was completely empty when I went in so I was worried it was a dive. They told me 20 min to get my order. Now that I have ... my food I know it took a bit because it was made fresh to order. The beef and broccoli is a little on the salty side and the fried rice has no veggies or chicken or egg in it. But everything looks great and tastes good. Very large portion for price.
