The food used to be really good, I’m talking about pre pandemic . But my recent experience was shocking , I ordered California burger , the main ingredient other than Berger is avocado, which was missing , after taking about 40 min to get ready , I asked about ... avocados , they said very politely oh sorry we are out . Salsa is another ingredient, but a touch , they put half jar of it on the top of burger . It was way too much salsa I had to remove it, then could not finish my burger, the taste was unbelievable nothing close to burger . Hash brown was black as result of excessive seasoning, and it was so soft . They kindly offered one piece of chewy bar to say sorry for the avocado missing , which was nice of them, but they just picked something for me . The whole experience was a shock to me , nothing comparable to my past experience there . I gave 2 star for their nice staff but food didn’t deserve even one star . I’m not going back . Read more

Coffee, Breakfast, Sandwiches and Burgers spot on Bowness. Driven by this place many times but never went in. A friend suggested this place as she lives in Bowness. I visited Cadence coffee for Sunday brunch and I enjoyed their American diner style atmosphere and delicious food! I had breakfast burrito, you can choose what to go into tortilla, I chose sausage and Swiss cheese. It was a fat burrito with a lot of sautéed veggies, it was delicious! My one ... complain was that they had daily special benny, but they were out of sauce. we visited around 1:30 so it was past the peak brunch time but if they put something on special, they should not run out or servers should be notified before customer orders. We ended up getting refund but we wish we knew it beforehand. I also had tomato basil soup with garlic toast, the toast was very good, the soup was ok. I also tried cookies and brownies, they were homemade style, cookies were thick! Coffee was delicious, drip coffee had good note, not weak or burnt and I enjoyed it a lot! I came here several times in the summer when I was staying in Bowness, please forgive the late review. The food is a reasonable price, but I do feel some of the dishes were just overly oily. I wouldn’t recommend the scrambled eggs with cheese etc on top, I found it ... all to be too much and too greasy. I liked the French toast, but it needed to sit in the egg longer to get more into the bread. It is what it is, and for an American diner style experience it’s not bad. Service was always excellent. Came on Father's Day for brunch and only had to wait 5-minutes to be seated (make sure you go to the front and get on their list). Due to limited staff, you'll need to also order at the front too. Food was reasonable priced and good. Sausages were extremely salty ... and didn't touch the water since the cups smelled funky. Overall, good experience and might resort to take-out next time.
