Went to Groovy Tuesdays this week to meet a new business partner and friend. The vibes we're high, the staff we're fabulous and the food was astonishing. They brought out some complimentary bread with peach/burbon/Cinnamon butter that was a freaking chefs kiss! I had salmon cake for an early dinner. It was really nice. I want to return to try their other menu. The service was friendly and helpful. Not cheap but value for money.

Veggie Panini Sandwich&Fries.. Nothing spectacular, nothing special however it cost me $31. For $31 per person I expect a wow factor, some pizzazz,, a reason worth spending $31 for a plate.. Atmosphere is great, staff great, everything was great for the exception of the food it was just okay.. Standard..! ... So if you're looking for standard food a that's overpriced this is the place for you.. For me I left there regretting that I picked this establishment, this restaurant to have dinner. I came here tonight with my mom and fiancee. I called ahead to make a reservation for the patio and our table was ready when we arrived. Our server was wonderful. The specials all sounded delicious, we got the special flatbread, burger, and main! They were all so delicious. We ... got a bottle of wine too and it was served just as we like it. I also got the key lime cheesecake which was delish, and my mom got the creme brulee which was very well done. It was all so delicious and I'm truly so glad we went here tonight. This is a very nice and cozy little bistro in downtown Barrie, they have also a nice patio in the summertime. The menu looks amazing, very refined actually. We opted for the special of the day that was the Mussels dish, it was really nice, the mussels cooked perfectly and ... the flavors in the sauce were spot on. We also had the burger and fries. Everything was really nice. I definitely recommend this cozy spot specially for a romantic first date or anniversary. We loved the music playlist also. This place is not super expensive but is in the higher $$$. Good local beer on tap and a large selection of wine. If you are planning to come on a Friday or Saturday night I would recommend to reserve a table ahead of time. Read more
