Saigon Lotus has a chill, laid-back vibe with lots of plants adding to the cozy atmosphere. We had the Golden Curry Vermicelli Soup and a Vermicelli Bowl with spicy lemongrass tofu seitan, BBQ vegan meat, and spring rolls. Both dishes were super tasty and came in generous portions. The filter coffee with ... condensed milk was amazing—definitely a favorite! For dessert, we tried the mango sticky rice, which they recommended. It's always nice to come across a restaurant with a fully vegan menu that is not identical to other places serving vegan food. The staff are sweet and nice and trying to accommodate everyone who has not made a reservation. The food is good. The pad thai is unique with nice flavor ... and packed with proteins. Sadly, the service is poor and disorganized. We had our order brought over but asked to wait until they confirmed with the kitchen if that was the right order. They forgot about our drink inquiry. Great place for vegan Vietnamese food! Their iced tea is worth trying. The curry bowls were filling and tasted great.
