The Puck Sports Bar & Grill - Toronto, Ontario

There's a lot of construction on Bloor & Spadina, which means this place is quieter than usual. There's a bar and a few TVs to watch games. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered chicken tenders. Unfortunately they were overcooked. The fries and salad were acceptable.

Decent wings (14 bucks with fries and veggies), decent macro beer selection with a couple of craft taps (side launch and nickel brook atm), solid service. Sometimes you just want a regular sports bar / pub, and this is the best option for that in the neighborhood.

Food and drinks were good! My server however was not. I'll say 'she' because I am not sure how they identified but she seemed to be scared to come to my table. I'm just a normal looking chick and I had to stand up and flag her down while ... it was NOT busy. It was just me and some other guy at the bar drinking scotch. She just didn't come to my table... I wanted to order more and invite a friend in to drink but my server really just wasn't having it. She barely even communicated verbally when she did come to my table. I don't get what the issue was. I believe this place changed their name or interior back in 2010? 7 years after the graduation from U of T, I finally had a chance to visit Toronto with my wife. I love their wings.
