I wanted to give the food a higher rating, but it was just okay. The atmosphere is great, an old pub on the corner of Jarvis and Georgie's. The staff is great, especially, our server, Tate, who was lovely. The first fellow that served us took forever to bring us ... our drinks. We just found the food to be your typical pub fare, and a bit bland. (They forgot to put some garlic in the Caesar salad.) Ribs were tender, but lacked flavour and the rib sauce was not spectacular at all. The margarita tasted too sweet and almost like syrup. I had higher hopes being in Toronto and having a love of great food. It's decent, but not great! The French fries were the best part. With the right Chefs, this could be a hotspot. Read more

Stopped in for the first time yesterday and had a great time. Awesome selection of beers, up beat atmosphere and easy going staff. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Steve. My husband and I had an amazing experience here at The Jason George. We shared a beef dip and a hearty vegetable soup. This was by far the best beef dip we've ever had. I got the world's fastest Caesar salad and Calamari here. Food was on our table in 7 mins flat. Calamari was so hot on the inside - fairly sure it was fried from a supermarket box or microwaved.
