Came here with a small group on a weekday evening and we had a lovely server who was quick and attentive. The food came out hot and steamy and was absolutely delicious. They have lots of billiard tables and did not rush us at all. The vibes were very chill ... and there was lots of stools to sit all around. The music was really good at times and very sleepy at others, could be because it was a weekday. They sadly didn’t have energy drinks, but the waiter was able to make recommendations for alcoholic beverages. Highly recommend for food and billiards! This was the perfect girlfriends night out! The place is gorgeous, with room between the tables. We reserved a pool table at arrival, and sat to eat a bite (wide choice, big portions, decent food). They came to tell us when our pool table was almost ready. Timing was perfect ... because we were done eating but otherwise, we could just have carried our food to the counters by the pool tables. We rented the table for one hour and had time to do two games. We played really poorly... and laughed all the way. So beginners can enjoy this experience. ;-) Read more

I wish I had better things to say about the service here but it was horrible. In the beginning the waitress, initially was pleasant, smiling and not sure what changed after our order but she never came to check on us or followup if we enjoyed our meall or ... needed anything. We've been to the crooked cue (pc location) many times and never ever had an issue with their service or food. Decided to venture out to the royal York location and though the place seems newly renovated, nice ambiance, retractable roof, I would very reluctantly return. The food was good(prefer the lamb burger elsewhere) we got what we requested, the basic needs werr met but it took a long time to bring the bill, multiple requests and once food was served to the table it was not made sure we got everything we needed, literally had to chase the staff down. There was even a light coloured hair on our table (should have taken a picture of that) once thr food was served and it wasn't any of ours and since I didn't complain because no one attended to our table and the littles were already starving/getting ancy. Very disappointed with the service. As a frequent restaurant goer, I would spend my hard earned time and money elsewhere. Read more
