The Boat - Toronto, Ontario

I actually loved the Boat. Came here to check out the venue to see if I might be able to host my 30th birthday party there and its definitely on the shortlist. The DJ played some great music (soca, hiphop) and the dance competition was fun to watch and all ... around everyone was supportive of each other. This place is great. I like it a lot . Great prices. Dont have ridiculous cover charges. Beer prices are fair. Good music and vibe. Top option in Kensington market area. Unless you want to pay 20 dollar cover to a small basement somewhere else.

This place is a pretty fun dive bar with a wide range of music being played by a DJ. There's no cover before 11pm and drinks are $6 or $7 for a mixed drink. This is just a fun place to have a night out with friends. Nothing fancy but ... perfect for an easy night. Read more

Great dance spot, good vibe. The people on the dance floor are the best. It gets a little hot and sweaty sometimes but the ice cold beer helps. Their rum and whiskey selection is improving. One of my favorite dance spots in all of Toronto. Great dance floor, fun tracks on every themed night, plenty of fun-loving people who also wanna dance until closing.
