One of the best Thai food in Toronto! I just moved into the area and had trouble finding great Asian food... until today! The curry Pad Thai is amazing, tom yum soup is full of flavor. Try their fried banana desserts too it comes with Thai mango ice cream ... yummy! Peaceful and quiet place with comfortable booths, I think I'm gonna become a regular here. Keep it up! Read more

I had such high expectations for this place. It looks really good on the surface but the food is subpar. It's nothing even close to authentic thai food. The pad thai is super sweet, runny, and red, like the ketchup-based kind you get on airplanes. I couldn't even eat half. ... Who puts a lemon and orange with pad thai? The curry... I'm not sure what to say about it. The satays were probably the best dish but we didn't even want to finish those either. The coconut sticky rice was as if they soaked rice in coconut cream. Not good. Spring rolls were terrible. They were cold and only tasted of tinned woodear mushrooms. The server was very nice and prompt so she's the only good thing about the experience. Went in on a whim and the food was much better than I expected. Tasted home made. All very delicious. We had the coconut chicken soup and the crispy beef dish with rice. Both were superb. Our server was also incredibly delightful. She told us she had just started a ... few weeks previous but seemed well seasoned, (just like the food, haha). I would definitely recommend. Read more

I was super excited to see this place going up in the neighborhood, eagerly anticipating the opening after the cool exterior went up. First off, the decor, exterior, all amazing. As a storefront, it's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, service was good, they were playing Chef's ... Table in the background on their TVs which is much preferable to sports or news. But, the food had a lot to be desired. We ordered pad Thai and pad gra prow (thai basil beef), the pad Thai was decent, but the other dish was basically like a pepper beef you'd get at a Chinese takeout. It's supposed to be ground meat with basil and spices over rice, but it was strips of fried beef and green and red peppers in a brown sauce. I really wish I would have explicitly asked if it was the right dish, but later the server didn't seem to show signs that it wasn't so I didn't. All told, I'm really glad they're in the neighborhood. I was hoping it would be a more adventurous exploration of Thai food, but instead for now it seems like a pretty front for a regular take out joint. We'll be visiting more later because I want to think we have a good Thai spot in the area and I want to give it another go. For now, maybe it's the best in the neighborhood, but there are certainly better in the city. Read more
