The best dive bar in the city. Tuesday open mic nights, Wednesday and Thursday karaoke nights. A welcoming and safe space for all.

I love the vibe of this place so much. It's so friendly and unexpectedly spacious on the inside. (it's so easy to forget since the storefront is so small and you can't really see in)... Woodhouse lager, left field Brewery and other great options available on tap. Bartender was super knowledgeable ... about how the beers taste too! (which is weird to say...but not super common lately in the neighbourhood lol) No food, but seem flexible on bringing in a pizza or the like. :) Washrooms are downstairs but the seating is wheelchair accessible! (I only docked a star because I don't have the stomach for pee smelly washrooms typical of any dive bar anymore) EDIT: PEE SMELL HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER!!! 5 STARS YALL!! The bartender that was working this evening was very unwelcoming and rude. I asked for a drink, she then corrected what I called it when she knew exactly what I meant. I asked for light ice and she made some snarky comment. We should have left after this but were ... waiting to eat dinner nearby. When it came time to pay, my partner asked for the bill with literally no acknowledgement. Needless to say, zero tip. It’s crazy how people make it seem like you’re bothering them to do their job. honestly, pretty cheap drinks and decent environment. what really threw me off was going to get a glass of water from the provided dispenser and seeing all of these chunks in the bottom. looks like mould to me, even if it isn’t i’m still appalled that it was present in ... the jug. asked if they had a drink menu, and they only have a draft list for their beers. The bartenders favourite tequila based drink, and he made me a tequila pineapple (shot of tequila in pineapple juice). for $8 i couldn’t complain. Read more

Such a cute vibe! No one asks you if you want the popcorn, so feel free to go up and grab yourself a bowl of popcorn. Sliders are small quick bites (packed with flavour), so don’t expect a full meal from that. Lots of veggie options too
