Went here as they have my favourite UK cider on tap, Cornish Orchards. Really enjoyed my food as well. The night we went was busy and the service was very, very slow (that's the star off). Still, the staff were friendly and apologetic. My food arrived hot, and everyone with ... me enjoyed their meals. This place is great! Good food and good drinks, but what truly makes it special is the bartender Paul. Such a nice young man, who's customer service skills are unmatched.

The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly. A great place to leave your phone off and chat with friends. Beer was cold, and the food was excellent. They don't make you choose between salad and fries - you can have a bit of both, which is great. The bartender missed ... one of our drink orders when things got busy and was at times slightly slow which is why I deducted a star, but this is also not the type of place you go to when you're in a big rush. Good bar to share a beer with locals and grab a bite. We had the burger and although it wasn't exactly as ordered the server was promptly fixed it, the fries were super good, crispy and thin. I had the brisket sandwich, delicious and good portion, the salad as a ... side was fresh and balanced. Really good options for beer, I had the Innis in special. I stopped by for lunch recently. Ordered the zucchini fries and the halibut fish n chips. Zucchini fries was OK. The halibut was fine as well. The coleslaw was really good tho.
