Had a great time at Local before going to a concert at Budweiser stage. Good food- recommend the fish and chips- and excellent service. Staff is friendly and enjoyed the patio atmosphere. Corn Hole and Bocce outside. Only complaint is that the bathrooms were not the cleanest. Otherwise great experience.

I had a pleasant early lunch here with my partner. Had been interested in trying Local, after finding them on Instagram. We enjoyed the pierogies and the blackened chicken sandwich. Both were very good. We had an attentive server, got a say in where we wanted to sit on ... the patio, and food came quickly. The fries were kind of dry/crisp but I really have no complaints about the food, service, or atmosphere. The inside was clean and nice as well. The food in this place was great. We started out with the LPE Greens salad and it was delicious. It was really fresh, the pickled grapes hit the spot, and the dressing was perfect - enough to add rich flavors, but not so much as to overwhelm the flavors of the ... greens and the vegetables. For mains we got fish and chips, and the crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings. The fish was solid, but the fries were excellent. Well seasoned, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. And the salad that came with it was very tasty and really complemented the fish well. The crispy chicken sandwich was also excellent, especially the spicy mayo really took it to the next level. The highlight though was the onion rings. Which is funny to say about onion rings, but these were the best ones I've ever had. The batter had a hint of garlic to it, and it was perfectly crispy and golden. While the onions were soft, but not mushy, with a hint of crunch, and that sweetness that onions get. I could've had a whole plate of those bad boys! This place has a casual, pub-like, feel, but the food is really high quality, there's a good selection of beers, and overall I highly recommend it. I recently visited Local Public Eatery in Liberty Village, and I can't believe I hadn't tried it before! The ambiance is inviting with its spacious layout and high ceilings, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the enjoyable experience. I ordered the Peanut Noodle ... Satay Salad, and it exceeded my expectations—definitely worth recommending. Plus, there's convenient public parking right in front, which is a major plus. I look forward to coming back and wish I had discovered it sooner! Read more
