Been looking for a place with a solid Sunday Roast and we've found it! Love the food here, also my personal preference is to have Scotch Eggs warm instead of how some pubs serve it cold so that is also a must if that's your standard pub fare. Bangers and ... Great food/service though a tad expensive-but well worth price. Good atmosphere & ambience too! Update March 2024: Exceptional food & service yet again. Johnathan was great! He was host, server all in one! Just excellent how he was so organized. Sam was our waiter & he too was amazing! Professional, personable & ... informative. Never felt rushed. Great conversationalist. My wife/I are were most impressed by both of them & the food too. The mushroom soup was divine as was the hummus & calamari. Now I know why everyone raves about this restaurant. I was very impressed from the start with how quickly we were served. The Good Friday menu have an excellent variety of dishes. The server was kind enough to acknowledge and accommodate my hearing loss when I couldn't ... understand something they said. The veggies, taters and lamb in my lamb shank were spot on. Great little pub with good food and cozy atmosphere. Visited on Monday evening around 6 pm. Was seated immediately but the place filled up quite quickly. By the time we had finished our meals it was already crowded towards the bar with people waiting to be sat. I had the roasted beet ... and goat cheese salad. Was fairly priced around $14. Not substantial but tasted great and would happily order again. Friend had a meat pie which she also enjoyed. They know how to pour a pint of Guinness. Read more
