Before anyone complains about the 4 star, I'm going to rate this for what it unapologetically is, not for what it isn't. It's not a standard chain or Gastropub and doesn't try to be. It is a dive bar, plain and simple. That said, the beer was standard, the bartender was ... friendly, the pool table was free, and (most of) the regulars were hilariously friendly. I like this small pub. Great place for an Amber Lager Pint ($5.50) and a nice homely Cafe meal. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and asked for an egg on top .... and that's what I got. Hit the spot! Maggie is super friendly. There is a jukebox and ... pool table. Great value for the Danforth. Not fancy, not a dive, just cosy and informal.
