Unfortunate this place has closed down. Was a great location for original live music right in the heart of Kensington market. Always something to do there now passed on to the ages. Cosy atmosphere. Great music on third Thursdays of every month (4th Thursday in November). The bartender did not say a word to me when I ordered my drinks - which seemed a little rude. Sounds like this place will close at the end of 2017.

Amazing little place. Friendly folk, an awesome dive bar ambience, delicious food and a solid beer selection. Totally discovered it by accident on a thirsty Sunday afternoon!

The place is too small, total dive vibe going on inside, the chairs aren't comfortable, bands are right by the front door, parking is too expensive, not enough TVs, and the guy behind the bar is always in a bad mood. So in summary: best freakin' bar in the city. Great ... selection of beers at reasonable prices, awesome people, great music, just perfect. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Is what you would say if you didn't follow up a night of hard partying with "BLACK METAL BRUNCH" at Graffiti's Bar. Originally I was drawn in by the gimmick. Death Metal? For Breakfast? At a dive bar? How can you ... say no! When the gimmick wears off, it all comes down to the food and the food is actually where this place shines. Graffiti's introduced me to the Deep Dish Baked Ruben ($15). A dish that is the panacea for what wrongs you committed the night before. My friends chose simpler fare, classic breakfasts and omelettes both reasonably priced (>$10) and well executed. If you find your breakfast needs an extra little kick, they truck in mason jars of homemade hot sauce which the right combination of flavor and heat to eat with a spoon. If the decor of a dive bar or heavy metal piping though the sound system makes you think that the service is shoddy or unfriendly - please remember this quote from a long time metal fan and friend of mine: "No one is nicer during the day than people who listen to music about raising Satan at night."
