Didn't actually get food as kitchen was closed, staff was friendly and quick the place feels homey and cozy, The aperol spritz was decent I personally enjoyed the tequila refresher but it was really sour so be warned. I would not recommend this place. I got hit with a 32 DOLLAR extra charge when the server was splitting the bill. The guy was nice enough and he was trying to refund it. I waited a good amount of time but, he could not refund it so I ... had to eat the charge and there was no staff that was well trained available to refund the charge. Having to eat a 32 dollar additional charge is insane!!!! I personally wouldn’t come back here again and I would not recommend this place as there are plenty of alternative options in downtown Toronto (there is literally a pub/bar on every corner). Also there are no good vegan options and the vegan option available is extremely over priced. Definitely not a fan of this place. I really enjoyed my meal here! I ordered the two piece fish and chips, the batter was cooked to a golden perfection and the fish was moist and delicious! My compliments to the chef! Nice quiet spot with 80's crowd-pleasers constantly playing in the background. We ended up here by chance and we are lucky we did! I had the California Chicken Sandwich and a salad. The salad dressing was tangy and abundant. The sandwich is a great option if you're trying to order something ... on the healthier side. My partner had the Beer Battered Fish and Chips.
