I made a phone reservation to have diner there on a Saturday. I was surprised when we got in, that it was not busy as I had expected. We waited at the door for a bit but no one came to greet us or sit us. We then went all ... the way to the bar and we were shown our table. The thing I did not know was that there was only one person taking orders and bringing the food and drinks for the whole place. As well as answering the phone. That explained why we waited without being greeted. The person was busy already. I was impressed that this person was the only front staff. There are lots of different screens for you to watch your favourite sports team on tv. We tried the warm spinach and artichoke dip. It was very good. Super rich and warm. It may sound healthy but don’t let it fool you: it’s packed with cheese deliciousness and sour cream. We also had the double stacked fried chicken sandwich and the pubs bacon cheeseburger. These are good filling portions. We enjoyed these and liked both the fries and waffle fries. We had the white chocolate cheesecake in the end which was very good. A nice bonus was the live music. The singer and guitar player was really good and played a variety of music from the 50s to today, as well as twinkle little star for the baby kid that was there with its parents. He started at 8pm and has 3 sets with breaks in between. You may use your SCENE points card to get more points or redeem them for a discount. Overall, a nice experience. They also have a really nice patio at the front that gets lots of sun. Read more
