I hosted a happy hour at the Duke of York last week and couldn't have been happier with their service! Working with Spiros and his team (the J's) was AMAZING; they took great care of our guests. We had over 75 people attend, and they managed it like it was a ... standard lunch service. It was so impressive!! They also have EPIC air conditioning (AC), which was needed during the heat wave! it was so hot outside so i decided to drink beer and take a rest a bit. servers was rude for me even when i try to talk with them friendly, their face was like: 😒😒😒 why? i understand you working hard but it’s your only responsibility in this bar… so anyway i ... tried feta and baked tomatoes, it was really tasty but i saw it was mention “with garlic bread” so my one only bread, where is the garlic…?? they have really nice patio it was so hot to sit but im sure can be so nice evening… price a bit expensive, because of location it’s reasonable. thanks Read more

We had such a lovely time celebrating my engagement at the Duke of York in between wedding dress shopping! From start to finish the whole experience was super special. We were put in the bay window and provided complementary champagne to toast the occasion. Byron provided incredible service and the ... whole staff were very warm and welcoming. A friend of mine picked this spot for us to grab a bite to eat before we checked out the symphony. When I first walked in I could smell an odor of dead rodent which kind of turned me off a little but I didn't pick the place or ... know the area so I still took my seat and waited for my friend to arrive. I started with an appetizer the spinach artichoke dip and it was very good and then I decided to order the turkey club sandwich with french fries and my friend had the steak with caesar salad and fries. I was told the steak was a bit stringy and had quite a bit of fat so it wasn't the best cut of beef. My main was very good 👍. It was a bit loud in there with people talking but we managed and it was a pub style establishment so it's to be expected. Our server was very nice and he made sure to check on us which was good. Overall it's your typical pub establishment. They need to check their traps more often because thay dead mouse smell was very obvious walking in. Read more

Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Byron, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely make a point of coming back next time we’re in the area.
