I had the miso salmon and it was beautiful and a divine dance on my palate. I was so impressed and couldn’t believe something this good could be served in a hotel lobby restaurant. Awesome experience at Char No. 5 - not your typical "hotel bar". Old fashioned is excellent - not too sweet, perfect balance. Pisco Sour and Espresso Martini variations were excellent as well. Tried the Tuna on Crispy Rice and the Corn Tempura - both were great appetizers ... and nice portions. Had "The Six" for dessert and it was excellent as well. But the BEST part of the experience is the service - both Eric and Abdisa were a pleasure to talk to. They gave excellent recommendations, were patient while we made some decisions and were genuinely nice guys. Absolutely recommend this spot if in downtown Toronto! Read more

It’s a good place for some drinks and tiny bites! They have a very good version of fancy poutine. Maybe not an ideal place for dinner but if you are eating here, maybe skip the burger and get small bites or the seafood pasta.

We popped into this bar on a whim on a Saturday night, and had such a great time. Great selection of whiskies and a super knowledgeable bartender who was able to walk us through the options. He was patient & attentive and made us a custom flight upon request! The ... fries we ordered were great too. Located in the Delta Hotel this lobby bar offered an array of whiskies from around the world. However if whisky isn’t your drink of choice then I recommend asking Ryan the mixologist. He was knowledgeable and professional and I appreciated the steps he took to ensure every customer had an ... enjoyable experience.
