Truly one of my favourite places in Toronto. Bill Hicks offers the environment of your best friends basement, an eclectic and very friendly crowd of individuals, and OF COURSE cheap drinks! Bill Hicks is one of few places that I will go to completely alone without knowing anyone, and I ... am confident every time that I will come out of it with a few new friends or contacts. The owner Teddy has gone from being a great bartender to being an even better friend, and I've made a lot of my closest friends under the christmas lights adorning the ceiling in this lovely joint. The inside of the bar is covered in album covers, has a tropical theme, and chain lighting all over the place. The drinks are a good price, the bartenders friendly and they play good music.

Awesome place! fantastic atmosphere, cheap drinks, free tabletop arcade machine...can't go wrong!
