Just had the most amazing time at Bar Wellington… again!! This hidden gem has become our favourite Sunday spot, and it’s because the staff are just incredible. Today we were served by Jayne, and she just makes us feel right at home. We will be back!!!

I recently rented the Bar Wellington upstairs space for a birthday party event with 60 guests. The Bar Wellington team was AMAZING to work with. Their staff were professional, helpful, and seemed genuinely invested in ensuring that my event went well. We arranged to have food platters brought out, and ... all my guests complimented the food. They allowed me to play my own playlist (even arranging things so that we could change the song when we wanted), and allowed us to decorate. We decided to stop while passing through the neighbourhood and luckily it was one of those pleasant little places we find in our way. Good vibe, the service was great and the food was fresh and tasty. Amazing beer selection and the restaurant atmosphere was something else. Reasonable price. Definitely a place ... we would return. First time visiting this bar, and I was impressed by the beautiful patio and overall pleasant atmosphere. We ordered chicken dumplings, a basket of fries, and chicken drumsticks to share. All three appetizers were delicious, with the chicken dumplings and fries standing out. The dumplings, though tasty, were a bit small. ... The drumsticks had good flavor but were a bit dry; however, the portions were generous, and the pricing was reasonable. The thin fries were especially delightful. While the beer prices are a bit high and the food selection isn't very extensive, the great atmosphere and tasty food make up for it.
