Banknote Bar - Toronto, Ontario

First time here ever and came in August for reference. Firstly, the prices are great and they have daily specials. The service isn’t the best as the waiter did not once ask us how our food was. It was also so hot inside the restaurant, doesn’t appear that their AC ... was working (as they have an old style AC not central). The food was decent, but the pasta had chicken that tasted dry, so definitely wouldn’t get that again. Overall a nice environment to watch sports games and grab a beer. Read more

Nice bar with a large menu of both food and beers. There's a daily drink special as well as a daily food special and the day I was there it was half price nachos! The staff are pretty nice and they've got quite a sizeable outdoor patio with multiple tables ... that stretches around the building. Large TVs to watch and listening to any sports that might be on! It's what you would expect a pub to be - cozy, dark, with a good selection of beer. I enjoyed the generous portion fish & chips. Friendly and swift service too.

Always a fun time at this bar if you work k. The area, are there to party or a sports fan. It's towards the end of all the clubs/bars in the King West which makes it a perfect place for pre-drinking and people watching. We've never had a full night ... or a moment there. Live bands are always fun, the staff is amazing, very attentive and helpful. This is also a good place if you want to watch a game on TV, plenty of screens around. Read more

I have only been here for drinks. We were a big group and the staff tried their best to accommodate all of us. It wasn't the most convenient seating for all of us but we managed to fit some extra chairs. Its a good place to grab drinks. I would ... go back anytime. Read more
