One of my favorite places to visit uptown Toronto. Lots of space for party events. They have live bands and the dance floor is active. Great place to let your hair down.
Today we went with my boyfriend’s family to the Rose & Crown. We were welcomed and shown to an area of our choice to sit as soon as we entered and it was very quiet. A clean and cozy place. Within minutes the waiter brought water for us all ... and gave us menus. When we were ready he took our orders and while waiting he organized a small Easter egg hunt for my boyfriend’s nieces. It was the sweetest and most thoughful thing he did. He gave them each a present once they finished as well. We were all blown away and so impressed! These days from my experiences going out I can honestly say I’ve never had this level of service! He was on top of everything. The food was fantastic too! A few of us had the veggie burgers with salad, some with fries. The kids portions were massive! Every meal looked delicious and we all loved the food. All the dishes were cleared quickly once we finished and you could tell he knows how to read a table. He was genuine and so very friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough it was just that good. I’ll definitely be back when in this area again. Read more
Totally in love with this pllace. Authentic cooking and falvours just magically appear on your tongue. Such joy to eat here. Advisable to book a table and be prepaired to have a time limit on it when going in peak time. We went friday at 5 and it was paked .
This bar has a laid-back vibe, and some regular guests live nearby. They have live music every Friday and Saturday and karaoke regularly on Sundays. (This information I got when I was at the bar, they seem to update the website rarely) We visited this bar for the first time and ordered some ... beers and food. I got their R&C salad with chicken, and my partner ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries. Their fries and sandwiches were delicious, and the salad was average, but I loved the chicken. Their beer was a little expensive, which was about $10 per pint for the okay beer. (Bud, Coors, Keith's etc.) We came on Wednesday, and there was no happy hour deal after asking. The whole bar was deserted as there was no event on Wednesday. By the way, their service was excellent. She was patient and friendly. We will probably go back again on Friday or Saturday. Read more

The two gentlemen manning the bar today were not there just to serve beer, but to make it a truly pleasurable experience there to help in any way possible. Nicest guys who are very appreciated 💪🏽.
