King David Laffa Grill - Thornhill, Ontario

I needed to find a kosher restaurant to go to with some Orthodox friends. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was really fresh and tasty. The pita and laffa is especially good, very light texture.

this place needs to close down. We tried the shawarma and it is tasteless and bland and very hard to chew, tasted like it was made a few days ago. In addition the food is overpriced for what you get. do yourself a favour and don't eat here.

I wish rating had an option of half star. I tried shawarma laffa twice here. 1st time I tried less quantity and disgusting taste(wasn't fresh)! Recently I tried it with my wife, the owner gives us a laffa bread which was already made(don't know how long ago). We assumed it must ... be fresh and must be made a few minutes ago. Went there a few days ago later that night after only eating that my mom got food poisoning. When we ordered food there is only 1 server and the guy was running around making the orders plus having to take them and the owner i assume was just walking around ... talking to i * assume* the masghiach. The worker was friendly but wasn't wearing gloves and was touching literally everything, wiping down the section where he was making the sandwiches. Did not see him wash his hands ever! Great food and great place. I had their shwarma plate out on their patio and it was amazing. very friendly staff, and their know how to make home cooked meals at a reasonable price. i have gone their quite a few times since then and im not disappointed every time. highly recommended
