Came here for the first time with my family. We ordered a variety of dishes. I ordered a rice dish, but heard the lady utter "house special" to herself. Upon her leaving our table I asked to clarify that I wanted the rice dish, while pointing to it on the ... menu. She agreed. Well, what do you know... I seem to have gotten soup anyway. I sent it back. but she came back and insisted I ordered it instead of rice. I said no, and yet she kept on insisting. not wanting to argue or upsetting the person making the food, I had the soup instead. Food was okay. But I was incredibly unimpressed with the service and refusal to budge on a customer's request. For those reasons I would not come back or recommend this place to anyone who expects good customer service. I left understanding why they weren't busy on a Sunday afternoon. Read more

I really enjoy the pho here, it's very well seasoned and not too much msg. We always come here after church on Sunday. Price is very reasonable. Their noodle has a very good texture and very chewy. The owner “the man” can be rude sometimes but this is a husband and ... wife run business so their hands sometimes are just very limited. Come here for the food! Focus on the food! Good food food! Viet City is an exquisite diner! They're food is delicious and insanely well priced. I would eat here every day if I could. Their fried rice is out of this world. Best i've ever had. All of their roles and chicken are masterfully done as well. The chefs must be ... very experienced to make food that tastes this good. Overall it's an amazing experience to eat there. There are many Vietnamese authentic dishes if you know how to order. BUN MAM, BUN RIEU are the examples for those. There also have vegetarian of every kind of soup if you dont want to have meat. Recommend!
