The sandwiches were ok but definitely overpriced for what you get. Stuff from ceiling falling on the floors and tables around us were in need of cleaning while staff were chitchatting behind counter then disappeared to back. Won’t be going back.

The good part is that the staff are friendly, but it was downhill from there. Stale bread and buns, corned beef was awful and the turkey wasn’t much better. This place was a lot better when it first opened a few years back, so not sure what happened there. Go ... to the Carvery instead, or even Subway. It’s also way overpriced. Take a pass. Read more

Interesting new take on “fast food”. I got the #14 which is their version of the BigMac burger. I was expecting the sandwich to be a bit better quality but it’s just a below average sandwich shop. The roast beef was dry, the bread was so stale it tasted plastic, ... overall yuck. Definitely not a “feel good” meal more like a sad-wich. I’d rather go to The Carvery. Read more

You are looking at the glorious #13! Shredded lettuce reminds me of the old sub shop in my small town growing up. Pesto mayo was a very nice touch. Overall the bun was dense but doesn’t cut your mouth. Healthy portion of meat to veg. I want to try the ... entire menu as it was hard to choose one sandwich. Staff was kind and helpful. Clean eating area and bathroom. Great value for a tasty sandwich. I highly recommend trying Big Star Sandwich! Read more
