I had a wonderful experience at Taste of Himalayas, a restaurant that serves authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine . The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken momos, which were juicy and tender, and came with a spicy tomato sauce. ... The lamb curry was rich and aromatic, and the garlic naan was soft and buttery. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I also enjoyed the cozy and elegant ambiance of the restaurant, which was decorated with colorful paintings and lanterns. Outstanding Pani Puri ( water ball ),Mixed Reviews on Chicken Dishes and Paneer I recently visited Taste of Himalayas for dinner and had a mixed experience with the food and service. Starting with the positives, the Pani Puri I ordered was outstanding. The taste was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, ... my dining experience took a turn when I requested extra Pani for the Pani Puri and was unexpectedly charged $2 without prior notification. While I understand the need for additional charges, I would have appreciated being informed beforehand. Moving on to the chicken dishes, I tried the gravy chicken, which was prepared in a traditional style. While the taste was good, I found that the chicken was slightly overcooked, resulting in a lack of tenderness. Additionally, I ordered paneer gravy, but unfortunately, it had a strong vegetable oil taste that was quite off-putting. This made it difficult to enjoy the dish, and I felt it was a waste of money. On a more positive note, I also tried the Nepali-style noodles, which were phenomenal. Overall, while some dishes were outstanding, others fell short of expectations. With better attention to detail and consistency in flavors, Taste of Himalayas has the potential to offer a more satisfying dining experience. Read more

Wow, what an experience I had eating out with my family at this lovely restaurant. Fairly excellent and easy-to-understand menu. Tasty and serving portions are generous. The food quality is fantastic, and the service is good, too. The restaurant is suitable for takeout or dining. Authentic Nepalese cuisines and one ... can ask for the spice level in the food.
