Called ahead to make sure they had gluten free crust. You can't tell it's gf compared to wheat. Tastes the same! Unfortunately one olive in my pizza still had a pit. Unexpected crunch. Famosa has really great thin crust Italian style pizza. They have a great pizza and soup or salad lunch combo for a lighter option. The staff at Guildford Famosa were friendly and efficient. Food came out quick and was very good.

Ordered gluten free pizza and it was fantastic, I spoke to chef and the oven is special ordered in from Italy, it uses a stone fire to cook the pizza. It took about 15mins for it to get served. Wish it was a little more cooked on the bottom and ... it would be perfect. The ranch tasted like it was off the shelf at superstore, made in house would be best. It’s our family ritual on Vancouver Canucks hockey nights to have pizzas and beer. We usually order from Famoso and are always very happy with them. My favorite is the Margarita pizza, and I strongly recommend it to anyone. Their pasta is always a hit as well.

I visited during lunch. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow compared to the size of the restaurant. It took a while to place the order. The food didn't come out quickly either, so visiting during the limited lunch hours might be a bit challenging.
