Strip mall nostalgia. The bald guy in the pet food store is living, breathing evidence of why we need small business. I may just get dog food there, but it feels like so much more.
the Ocean Park Shopping Center has been our home base for shopping since we moved into the neighbourhood decades ago. Imagine my surprise today in getting a parking ticket while enjoying tea at the Islands Cafe, as I exceeded their new two hour parking limit. If you are a merchant ... in the mall, you must know that your customers park there and shop at a variety of the shops, including the dental office and the nail saloon, both whose services alone could have you exceeding your two hour limit.
