A&W - Surrey, British Columbia

Good memories of this place. Serves as a gathering space for seniors nearby. Recently had a Brew Bar installed for more complex cold beverages. I'll miss it when the entire neighbourhood is redeveloped.

We ordered a mozza burger with other combos but I could not see any cheese in my mozza burger. Can you call this like a mozza burger? Ordered two teen burger combo's. One to eat at the restaurant the other to go. I was looking forward to drinking the famous A&W root beer from a frozen mug. Sadly it has more CO2 (carbon monoxide) than the syrup! I wasn't able to drink it! Fries were the ... highlight of the meal, nice and hot, crispy. Burger was cool. I spoke to the manager, she offered me an empty cup to have another try with the root beer, I declined. When I mentioned about the cool burger , the manager advised me next time just ask for a freshly cooked burger!! I said that each time I go to a A&W the food is always freshly cooked, why not here?
