The Henry Public House - Surrey, British Columbia

This review is specifically about our server. Our check #935807 on July 6, 2024. We frequently come to The Henry for weekend brunch. Last Saturday was another of those days. We sat outside as it was a sunny day. Tasha was our server that day and has been many other times ... before that. We want to acknowledge what a great job she did serving the two of us as she does every time. She is always friendly, wears a smile, gets our order right and doesn't miss a beat. We went to The Henry for a birthday and the atmosphere was great! Pool table, a few arcade games, plenty of TVs and great staff. They happen to host a Tuesday Music Bingo which was a lovely surprise! The food was great. Can’t wait to go back!

This pub located in Cloverdale offers a fun and lively atmosphere. There is a pool table and screens all over the place. Not to mention a few arcade games including pinball machine. The food however was mixed experience. While our brussels sprouts were pretty good, the JRG burger was not. ... Chips were meh too and I would actually prefer a mediocre fries over them. The Henry is fantastic. A great friendly pub in the heart of Cloverdale. I stopped in for a beer and ended up performing a bunch of magic for the staff and clients. I had a great time. I think I want to go back and do more.

Ordered take out tonight and needless to say, was not impressed. Portion size is ridiculous. Fries were ice cold and most over cooked. Hubby’s sauce portion for his beef sandwich was laughable. We paid $55 for two meals that we would’ve much rather spent at a McDonald’s.
