Went on November 13 to celebrate our 41 anniversary and was very impressed! My husband is from Germany and said the food reminded him of home! I had a spinach salad before my meal and it was delicious. Apple Strudel is made in house, also very good! I highly recommend this place!
We came to Canada from Hungary 27 years ago. We found the best European restaurant in Elizabeth Restaurant. The food is excellent in every aspect. The restaurant elegant, clean. The service is nice, fast and helpful.
We stopped by this restaurant by “accident”. We had absolutely no idea what to expect. We walked in and it became quite clear. A classic Bavarian style restaurant. The service was quite good, the food was tasty, and overall we had a great experience. This is the type of place ... that has stayed consistently traditional for decades. If you want a nostalgic experience and a blast from the past, this is a great place to experience what dining in the mid-eighties at a Bavarian restaurant would have been like. Try them out. We didn't even get to eat in due to current conditions, but we had a fantastic dinner take out for my wife's birthday. I had the bratwurst and she had cordon bleu and we were very satisfied. The portions were so big, we have potatoes and slaw for leftovers! The quality of ... the food was delicious and very filling. At first the staff was very friendly. The bus girl was very helpful, friendly...did her job very well. Cute too. Bridgette was friendly too. But when we wanted to pay it took 20 minutes with the credit card clearly visible on our table. The food was meh. As an actual German, not ... like everyone else saying they are, the food was mediocre. Had the schnitzel madascor. My father had the hunter schnitzel.
