Cactus Club Cafe - Surrey, British Columbia

Our first experience at CC was less enjoyable. This time was better. If you like ladies in tight, revealing black clothes, you’ll love this place. We had a Salmon Aburi Roll, Tuna Poke Bowl, Butternut Squash Ravioli with Prawns, and a Feenie Burger with Truffle Fries the first time. Today ... we got the Chipotle Chicken Tacos, Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl, and Rob’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The servings were adequate. Food and service was excellent. We were a bit disappointed by the fact that they don’t serve the Dijon salmon at this location. We were going there to eat this dish be we didn’t know they had a smaller menu. The butternut squash ravioli was to die for. The blackened ... creole chicken was extremely juicy, perfectly cooked. 4 of us had a wonderful family dinner on a Wednesday night. Food quality was great, service excellent, and the drinks were exceptional. This place is managed very well kudos to the whole team!!

Wow! What can I say, this place was absolutely amazing! Me and my family took our sister here for her birthday, and we were blown away with how good it was, we have been to Cactus Club before, but it Abbotsford and it was for pasta (which was amazing), but ... on this recent visit to Surrey, we finally got to try main-meals. The Crab Cakes frites were delicious and tender, fresh taste, warm, I chose to upgrade from Sea-salt fries to Truffle Fries, and did not regret it! So good, the tartar sauce was just right as it complemented both the Fries and the crab cakes. The salad that came with my meal was prepared in a way that I had not seen before, and it was so good, fresh, it came with a lemon on the side which even further enhanced the already delicious flavor, it was topped with these little crunchy balls. My brother ordered a 16 oz steak (medium rare) it was so juicy and tender, props to the chef for preparing it perfectly, and seasoning it well! Finally for Dessert, we initially had ordered the New York Cheesecake, but quickly found out it was sold out, so we chose the next best option, The Egg Nog Cheesecake! And I don’t regret getting it, when i tell you it was good.. IT WAS GOOD, the silky top, with the textured base, the burst of flavor is un-describable. Great restaurant! Servers and hosts are all very friendly, kind and welcoming. Food was great and the Zero proof beverages were refreshing with a nice decoration :) They have variety of entrees as well, my favorite was definitely the Avocado dip which was sooo flavorful!!! They have many main dish ... options, vegetarian and vegan. I believe they have gluten free options as well which is awesome! The place itself was beautiful, really cozy but also fancy.
