Five Guys - Surrey, British Columbia

Five guys makes a fantastic burger and some of the best fries in fast food. Sometimes they over sauce the burgers and the buns come out soggy but I'm still going to eat it every time.

Food is pretty solid and large portions. The portion of regular fries is enough for two people. Price is slightly higher but I feel like the large portion makes up for it.

Ordered take out and got home and both burgers were raw inside. This is the second time this has happened at this location.

First time ordering. Looked at the menu. Didn't see a veggie burger so I asked if they had one and employee said "Yes". Told me the veggies on it etc. I told them I've never been here before so I don't know how to order but went through with my ... order anyways. I literally got a burger bun with vegetables in it. No paddie?... They said veggie "burger"...??? I wasn't aware you had to order the sauces either. That wasn't communicated by the employee when I told them I've never ordered from here before... nor did they ask what sauces I want either. I took another glance at the menu and saw Veggie Sandwich.... Ok so it's a sandwich and not a burger? I wish it was communicated better about how to order... Especially after asking. Was recommended this place by a friend. They said its better than FatBurger. That it was juicier and better tasting. We spend almost $40 for what we got...! The Good: Fries were the only thing good! The Bad: The burgers were ok.. but not worth the price! The cheese was cold and ... not melted to the patty. The mushrooms were cold, the fried onions were cold, the patty was warm, but because all the fixing were cold the burger was over all cold! It was edible, but I have had better burgers from McDonalds. At least McDs will bring the food to my car. For almost $40 you should have brought it to my table. The Ugly: I asked for chili in my burger, the guy at the counter did not even know what chili is? He thought I wanted a chili pepper. I tried to explain what it was, but gave up when he gave me that vacant stare! Definitely not better than Fatburger, cause fatburger brings my food to me. Fatburger gives me hot food.
