Carl’s Jr - Surrey, British Columbia

This is definitely the fanciest Carl’s Jr that I have ever seen. The restaurant was in good shape and the employees were helpful. Our food was fresh and delicious. The best part is the honey mustard which is next level. The worst part is their fries which are usually served cold ... (at all Carls Jr, including this one) and just aren’t very good. The Burgers are OK. I had the SuperStar Combo and my Partner had the Famous Star Combo. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Having lived in Southern California for 21 years and visiting this week in Surrey. I was expecting it to taste 5 out of 5 stars ... like all the California locations I have been too but this location gets 3 out of 5 stars. I feel like a few steps have been skipped due to laziness or lack or training on how a Carl's Jr Burger should be made. I remember coming to this location a few years back and didn't think it was all that great than but gave it another try. At least they have a promo right now and saved about $6 on both combos. The first thing I noticed was just how clean this restaurant was was! Service was very quick. Very attentive staff. Great Angus burgers! Now the go to place for burgers since there are no Carl's Jr. locations left in Vancouver. Doesn't look like they will be ... gone any time soon. There aren't many Carl's Jr restaurants in the Metro Vancouver area but the Missus was famished. The service was fine even though it was managed by a cashier, a manager and a cook. We both had the Famous Star with Cheese combo deal and found it was just okay. The ... meat to bun ratio seemed to be off due to the thin beef patty. My first time to try Carls’s Jr. i like Whopper in burger king and fries in McDonalds. This is the place where i can enjoy both of them! It’s so sad that Carl’s Jr is not located in my place (Coquitlam) but it’s not too far so i’ll come again! ... Also the guy who looks like a manager at the cashier was so kind! Very satisfied!
