Ricky’s All Day Grill - Surrey, British Columbia

Okay, so this place went from super good many years ago, to really bad a few years back, and now back to really good again. Hope their kitchen staff stick around this time! Hash was crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Same with the waffles. Food is well seasoned. 4.5 ⭐

Great food and staff was very kind. We had two good experiences there and we'll be back soon.

Service was nonexistent. The waitress spent more time in the back. The Alfredo was tasteleaa and the bun was cold and not buttered properly. I actually had to get up and stick my head in the back in order to get service at one point Very disappointed

I’m really wanted to give this place 3.5 stars but site won’t allow me.. I really liked the food. It’s like home cooking and simple. I had eggs benny with the maple bacon... it was pretty good. I’ll most likely eat here again. I’m deducting 1.5 stars for these reason the ... washroom smell absolutely gross and the table was sticky... Staff was friendly. My g/f and I decided to try this Ricky's after shopping at the mall. It was 5pm on a Sat and I was surprised how empty the restaurant was. Beside us, there was one more couple there. We were seated right away, and the waiter came by and took our ... order about 5 min later. The waiter bought our food over about 20 min later, and unfortunately that was pretty much the last we saw of him, or anyone else. No one came by to ask how the food was, or to fill up our water. We waited about 10 min after we had finished eating and were debating whether to go look for someone to ask for the bill. Luckily another couple got seated close to us and we asked the person seating them for our bill. As for the food itself the fish & chips I ordered was average. Nicely presented but the fish wasn't very fresh and the portion of fries was small. the best part of the meal was the coleslaw. My g/f had the liver & onion and though it was well flavored, it was way overcooked making it really dry and hard. The bottom of the liver was almost burnt.
