Despite the restaurant being nearly empty at 6:45pm, if you are going to the theatre at 8 o'clock you better be at this location of Brown's just a block down the street by 6:30pm, know what you want to order and place your order with your waitress immediately. If you ... like to have a selection of the delicious appies you better be there well before 6, the end of happy hour. After that the price goes up 3 dollars each. There is no indication of this increase on the menu. That was quite disappointing. I ordered the crispy chicken burger. After a long wait our meals arrived so we had to gobble them down in order to get across the street to the theatre. Now about that burger; those brioche buns are ridiculous. I deconstructed mine and just ate the filling with a knife and fork. There was way too much batter on the chicken but it was very tasty. My dining partner wasn't able to eat his meal fast enough so he left quite a lot on his plate because we had to rush down to the theatre I will never eat there in the evening again. We got a few appies that were all incredible. My sisters were both happy with their food, I got the beef dip because it sounded really different than your typical one, but I was disappointed. Our server was very lovely, but the stand out of the evening was our food runner. ... She was so pleasant to interact with, and gave the entire night the best vibe. Butcher’s Block Burger was amazing! The fries and cowboy salad were yummy too. Service was average, atmosphere was good. Good AC and nice patio. Might be coming here more often…
