Probably the best place for Chinese food in Surrey. Delicious food and great prices. Their portions a huge and orders are made very quickly. Very friendly staff aswell.

It is 9:52 p.m., and Surrey normally dies at 9 PM. So what do you do when you are craving Chinese. You hit up Lucky Horse, of course. I asked for the combo "Dinner Combo for 1 E" It comes with sweet and sour boneless pork, Beef Chop Suey, and ... BBQ Pork fried Rice. I tasted first with no add ons, and yes, the flavor is on the light side. However, I noticed a tray served up by the waitress. It has salt, pepper, soya, and a chili oil sauce. I added the flavor it lacked and it was perfect. The chop Suey had plenty of veggies and a bit light on beef but that's ok it is only 13.75. This place should be packed at these prices. I use to order from here about 6 yrs ago . Seems the food quality has gone downhill. The sweet and sour use to be covered with lots of sauce and with a slight crunch in outsides and non fatty decent tasting pork inside seems now was soggy barely any ... sauce and fatty chewy pork. AVOID! The saddest most tasteless “Chinese” food I’ve ever had. I wish I had checked the reviews closely before ordering. The chicken chow mein has zero flavor, just a few dried pieces of boiled chicken breast, a few sprouts and tasteless noodles. The fried rice is dry and stale. The ... sweet and sour pork tastes extremely old and was rock hard. The beef chop suey had an off smell and was incredibly slimy.
