Tucked in a little corner in South Surrey is a wonderful Japanese restaurant called Hanaya. The restaurant is easily missed as you travel down King George but it is worth your time to go and have a meal inside. The staff are attentive and quick to respond to service calls. ... Cute little Japanese restaurant. Absolutely delicious sushi - highly recommend the crunchy California rolls. Great service. We were seated straight away. Cute interior with an authentic Japanese feel. There was pictures of previous diners covering all of the walls. Liked that they give you free tea on arrival - really appreciated that ... as it warmed me up. Also give free refills on the tea. Got free miso soup with our mains which was delicious. Sushi was massive so I was full up before my mains arrived, but I did try a bit and it was very tasty. Would definitely eat here again. Read more
