A&W - Surrey, British Columbia

I recently visited this A&W and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a burger and was shocked to find that the bun was moldy. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hygiene and quality control at this location. I expect better standards from a well-known chain ... like A&W. I've only come to this location in the morning, but this has to be the best A & W I've ever been to. The restaurant has always been absolutely clean, hygienic, and spotless. The service is unbelievable for a fast food restaurant - for example they walked around asking each ... customer how their meal was, and offered coffee refills several times each visit. I chalk up this superior experience to the morning manager, who told me she's been at that location for 23 year, and obviously enjoys and takes pride in her work. Best place in the neighborhood for an inexpensive breakfast, by far. People like this manager deserve praise and recognition. Read more

Yesterday was my family's third time at this location and the experience was great. We were greeted by multiple people as we walked in. I've been to other locations and this was the best service by far. We had a very nice lady take our order and come by ... and ask if we needed anything else. She offered us mints afterwards and was very polite. It didn't feel like we were in a fast food restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Read more

I ordered onion rings from drive thru but the onion rings tasted very salty. It's hard to eat. Usually come to here once a week and everything was good but no idea today taste awful

Tonight I placed an order (Monday Feb. 5) around 10:00PM, online for pickup. It take about 10 min to drive there. I drove up to an empty drive through and was told to wait. Waited 5 min before the girl even asked me what my order was, and then proceeded ... to wait at the window for another 15+ min at the window for the food, while the girl working at the drive through was talking and laughing with her friends at the front counter. I didn't get my food till 10:40. When I asked her why it took so long for my pick up order and she did not explain any reasoning and turned around CLOSED the drive through window on me. This is an unacceptable service. For an online order that could taken 10 mins turns into a 40 min from start to finish for 2 teen burger. She clearly did not care of about service, THESE ARNT EVEN TEEN BURGERS! Read more
