Rock Creek Tap and Grill - Regina, Saskatchewan

Placed an order for pick up at 6:19 pm arrived at 6:50pm to pick up. Ordered 2 full orders of Albuquerque Chicken and 2 extra sides of veggies. Waited at the counter for nearly 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged I was there. There was not a ... single person in the restaraunt. Here is actually what I got!!! Brutal!! Called and was told they put both in same container…hahahaha ok. No wonder there was nobody in the place, and based on recent reviews I am not the only complaint about this location. My bad I ordered from the North and not the east location. Will NEVER order from here again. And potatoes taste like Idaho boxed mashed🤢🤢. Be better! We went in sunday evening , it was not busy at all . There were only 2/3 tables but we had to wait around 15 mins to be seated and the water came in after another 20 mins . We finally ordered . I ordered the steak sandwich and wanted ... the steak to be done medium . The steak was over cooked . It was over well done and chewy. After i let my waitress know about the cook on the steak , she refused to accept the fact that its well done and not medium . I then showed her that they steak was very stiff and had no pink in it . She then told be that she is the owner of the place and they have the best steak and its cannot be wrongly cooked . SERIOUSLY? I dont know if i looked dumb enough to give her the impression that i dont have knowledge about steaks . She then ran back to kitchen and came back saying that i steak might have sat under the heat lamp for long. IS THIS EVEN MY PROBLEM? to make it right she offered me 20% off of my steak . I have been to many restaurants before but this was a worst experience for me . I am never retuning back . Very unprofessional . She also told me that she doesn’t prefer hiring any brown server because they can not bring enough tips . Thats RACIST. I wasnt sure what to order drink wise as I was on the lounge side and the waitress suggested a Blackberry Lemonade and it was amazing! We had a memorable anniversary dinner here. They have very calm and soothing ambience, The staff was excellent and went an extra mile to make it more romantic for us. The Chauffeur service was provided to us that added a limit less enjoyment. The food was very delicious with nice accommodating ... menu. Cucumber ginger mist is quite good. Quite a refreshing drink. The brisket taco was delicious! The brisket were tender and the juice is just right.
