Really nice restaurant for a date night. Loved the ambiance and decor inside ! Their cocktails were quite generous with the alcohol and not watered down with other ingredients. The food was great and very nicely presented. My favorite has got to be the croissant with caramel and icecream. It was ... so so so good! The appetizers were excellent. Fresh Seafood and wonderful Cheese. The main course too. The choices available on the menu are limited, but each dish is unique. 3 of us chose different steak dishes (New York, Filet Mignon, etc). And they all had different sides and sauces. The place is great. I also like the ambiance. But my concern was with an employee and the menu. As i was giving 1$ tip for her, she responded rudely about the minimum tip i had to give her, which she pointed to a number of around 2$. She said ... that we are forced to give a tip of 15%. She made me uncomfortable as the way she was speaking was kind of like trying to force me to make the tip higher. So, i had to give that 2$. After this situation is done, my friends told me we are not even obligated to give tips that high and they could see how rude she was. Also, i am vegan. And in the menu there is no vegan options. The only thing they could bring me was a bowl of salad. They couldn't even take a meal that they already have and remove the cheese. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were four having dinner. Tartares were exceptional! For the tartare dinner you also get a small salad, fries and crostinis. Bread and butter were very creative. Finally our filet mignons were beautifully done. I found the music to be perfect for thus cool little ... place. The seating is not only “groovy” it was comfortable for the evening. Nice restaurant with very well prepared food in a relaxed atmosphere and with friendly staff. They serve Canadian food, fresh ingredients of good quality. The size of portions are fine, their salmon tartare is good and so their short ribs. The desserts are also yummy. This restaurant is pretty close ... to the airport so it’s a good option for visiting prior or after a flight, specially if you had a large one as it was in my case. Read more
