Wow! My husband and I ate dinner here one night. The server was so nice and attentive. We had the warm goat cheese appetizer and it was great. I had the wagyu steak and it was incredible. My husband had the duck leg confit and loved it. For dessert I had ... the Tonka bean creme brulee and it's the best creme brulee I've ever had. 10/10 and highly recommend. Read more
Second time dining here while visiting QC. I can't recommend highly enough. Everything from the service )the two same waiters as last time and they are as personable as they are welcoming and professional) to their dishes. Elegant in a casual kind of way, in a great location. Dishes are ... amazing. Not my best experience in Quebec City… we made reso weeks ago but somehow we’re stuck at the table right by the washroom….. not a good start to my birthday dinner…. The three appetizers we tried, the foie gras was super sweet with so much fruit and some kind of ... fruit coulis, the wagyu tataki was so tough I couldn’t swallow a piece, and the burrata wasn’t even a full one… was about a quarter of one (not worth it for $20), and the rabbit was just so so. But every single dish had an extreme amount of pickled elements in there, I mean I know the French like to pickle vegetables but at some point all I can taste was sour. The worst though was I had the most awful stomach pain and trip to the bathroom that night….. not sure what triggered this but this was the only restaurant we ate at that evening ….. Read more
I had a great experience in the restaurant. Very warm and nice staff. The wines by glass were quite expensive but it worth. The salmon tartare was without enough salt and too much dill... missing also to remove the fiber from the fish. The duck confit really surprised me! ... Cooked with perfection. The fries was tasty and the salad simple but fresh and yummy. Read more
