Super clean and friendly eatery! First impression walking into this place is how sparkly clean, spacious and tidy it is. Second impression is how friendly the staff is. I usually take my time going through the entire menu but they didn't pressure me to hurry. They ... must have known that this was my first visit as a tourist. Their double decker Hamburger was good quality and fresh toppings. I ordered milk which came in a plastic bottle - even the milk was delicious! We visited about 5 different eateries on this small street of fusion and local foods but I have to confess that I enjoyed my brief dining experience at Chez Ashton the most and spent the fraction of what I overpaid at these over-priced fusion places on Rue St. Joseph. I don't usually review fast-food restaurants but I can tell that this place has a really good management in place. Keep up the good work! Tried as part of a self guided poutine tour. It was recommended by our tour guide as the go to poutine but it was just above average. We found better, but I’d still recommend.
It's almost a mandatory stop when you're in Québec City, but the poutine is okay. I can't say it's the best in the world or the best in Québec, but I mean, It's okay. The fries are soft, the cheese feels a little too processed. You know what's ... delicious? The gravy! It is solid. If you're in Québec City, have a small Chez Ashton poutine, but have another one elsewhere also. Read more

We went here for lunch my husband got a meal burger, fries and a drink. I got the salad with chicken. The burger was dry the poutine had no flavor. The salad was made by lying whole leaves of iceberg lettuce in the bottom of a plastic container. A few ... green peppers and carrots added on top with cubed pieces of chicken. Out of the original dressing I picked so I had to try again. No unsweet drinks beside water. Cashiee not very knowledgeable about products. We paid with a credit card they over charged us by $4.11 the drawer open the cashier took out the change and gave himself a tip. We won't be back. Read more
