Classic. Very consistent experience.

18$ for a canned onion soup that tasted old vinegar and a grilled cheese sandwich was too pricey. Every time I ate at Normandin I hated the food and paid too much for the low quality of the food. Bland salmon and rice, super salty pizza... This time I had the ... smoked meat poutine. Good portion and it wasn't bad at all. Still not the best one I ever had but a good one. The server was cool. I still give a 1 star review because all the other times I went to a Normandin restaurant I wasn't happy with the experience. The time before last, the server made mistakes in the order, food on the menu was not available and overall it wasn't that good. Now, in the bar section of the one I visited yesterday on Henry Bourassa street, the poutine was good and the server was also good. It was my first time in that particular franchise. I ordered a lobster roll. Food was deceiving, lobster was not fresh, and portion was small. The roll tasted more of celery than anything else. Fries were disapointing, dry and oily.

Of course it's basic food... but it's NEVER disapointing. Everything taste the way it should. Very reliable, with honest prices. Staff are always smiling and friendly. It's a good place for a quick snack with your kids.

Food was good...french fries were really good. Service was great and friendly waitress. This restaurant followed all the guidelines to keep their restaurant Corona virus free.
